FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions on cages:

1) Do you have any tips for assembling my new cage?

Before you begin you should identify each of the sides, the top and the bottom, and if your cage includes them, the additional floors, balconies and ramps. When assembling, attach panels first with zip ties, and then once you are sure you have everything in the proper place, clamp on the C-rings and remove the zip ties.

2) Should I wash my new cage before introducing my pet to it?

We recommend every new cage be washed once assembled before allowing your pet access to it. PVC coated cages can be washed with soap and water. Galvanized cages can be washed with a solution of 50% vinegar and 50% water.

3) Are custom cages available?

We are happy to work with our customers to supply cages built specifically for their needs. If you are in need of something special, please contact some from our sales team at our toll free number above.

4) Do you deliver to shows?

Questions on ordering and shipping:

1) Why is the shipping cost so high? Why does the package weigh so much?

All shipping companies charge not only by the weight, but also by the size of the package. This is called dimensional weight. This may cause shipping to cost more despite the weight of the cage. Please note: Despite our efforts, it is possible for our shopping cart to incorrectly estimate your shipping costs. If you feel your shipping costs may be inaccurate, please contact us and we will be happy to verify the shipping costs for you.

2) I am ordering multiple cages, how can I be sure the shipping costs are accurate?

When ordering multiple cages on line, you are welcome to contact us to verify shipping costs.

3) Can I return my cage?

Cages can be returned within 7 days, undamaged, for a full refund, less shipping costs. We discourage ordering without intent to keep the cage. Such cases will be subject to additional fees.

4) My cage arrived damaged/missing pieces, what should I do?

If you cage arrives damaged or missing pieces, please note all damage to the box and contact us immediately. We will work with the shipping company and replace what is needed.
